International Film Series: Utama

An elderly Quechua couple live a tranquil life in the arid Bolivian highlands. While Virginio takes their small herd of llamas out to graze, Sisa keeps house and walks for miles with other local women to fetch precious water. When an uncommonly long drought threatens everything they know, they must decide whether to stay and maintain their traditional way of life or admit defeat and move in with family members in the city.

Screenings will be free. Face coverings are encouraged for both vaccinated and unvaccinated guests. The Neville Public Museum is working closely with county authorities to maintain proper sanitation and disinfecting.

Screenings begin at 7:00pm. Screenings on the 1st Wednesday of the month will occur in the auditorium of the Neville Public Museum. Screenings on the 3rd Wednesday of the month will occur at the Tarlton Theater.

All films are free and open to the public and are unrated but intended for a mature audience.
