The Great Pumpkin Train

Join us on Saturday, October 14, or Saturday, October 21, 2023, for a family-friendly, fun-filled day celebrating all things fall.
Each admission to The Great Pumpkin Train includes a train ride to the pumpkin patch, where you can find your own pumpkin to take home with you! Your ticket also includes indoor live entertainment, crafts, trick-or-treat throughout the Museum grounds, games for children of all ages, a balloon animal, and the chance to operate our vintage handcar. The event will take place rain or shine, and all attendees can explore our historic trains and engaging exhibits.
The Great Pumpkin Train runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Your ticket gets you a ride on the train at the time you select, but you are welcome to participate in all of the other activities at any time throughout the day. Additional event details will be shared when tickets go on sale. Proceeds from this event support the Museum’s programs and operations.
