Accessible Zip Presented by Weyer Family Foundation
The Adventure Park is excited to announce the return of its highly anticipated Accessible Zip, presented by Weyer Family Foundation! Designed to provide individuals with physical disabilities with the opportunity to experience the thrill of zip lining in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment, the program will be offered on three dates this year: Friday, June 19, Thursday, July 16, and Thursday, August 13. Each event will run from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Participants will be guided by trained Adventure Park staff throughout the entire experience. From being fitted with safety equipment to being assisted to the top of the park’s 50-foot fire tower, staff members ensure a comfortable and enjoyable adventure. Riders will soar down the Adventure Park’s 1,000-foot Dual Racing Zip Lines before receiving assistance with a smooth and controlled descent to the ground.
“We continue to expand our reach and hope each season brings new participants to experience this thrilling adventure,” said Nathaniel Wagner, Adventure Park Supervisor. “The smiles on the faces of the participants makes it all worth it.”
