This popular, annual fundraiser – presented by Schneider – helps support the National Railroad Museum’s ongoing activities. Join us in person and sample a variety of craft beers, wines and spirits selected for your enjoyment. Each ticket includes a souvenir tasting glass. Guests must be 21 years old with a valid ID to attend.
Tickets are limited to 40 Premium tickets and 360 Standard tickets, so sign up soon! Those ticket options include:
Standard tickets ($45) – Starts at 6 p.m.
Include access to the Museum’s Lenfestey Center where you will enjoy samples from more than 15 craft breweries, wineries, and distillers. Food also will be available. A silent auction with an array of items with staggered times for the closing of bids will be held throughout the evening. Doors open at 6 p.m. for guests with standard tickets, with the event scheduled to end at 9 p.m. There is a limit of 360 total Standard tickets.
Premium tickets ($65) – Starts at 5 p.m.
Include all the benefits of standard tickets, plus an exclusive reception inside the Museum’s Fuller Hall exhibit area from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. The exclusive VIP reception – hosted by Justin Lambrecht, education director – includes a private beer tasting and hors d’oeuvres as well as a program spotlighting “The Milwaukee Beer Line: From Grain to Glass,” the Museum’s 2022 exhibit. There is a limit of 40 total Premium tickets.
Standard and Premium tickets are available in advance, or they can be purchased at the door on the day of the event (if the event isn’t sold out by then).
Rails & Ales also features a silent auction. Among the many items: a framed, signed Green Bay Packers jersey (Ha Ha Clinton-Dix), courtesy of Bergstrom Automotive; various sports tickets (Milwaukee Brewers, Green Bay Gamblers, Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, Milwaukee Admirals, Green Bay Rockers, Green Bay Rockers); museum tickets (Discovery World, Automobile Gallery), and numerous gift certificates and packages for restaurants and other attractions from Green Bay to Milwaukee as well as Wisconsin Dells, and Chicago.
The Museum is still accepting items for the silent auction that can be included without a minimum ask. We may put together any similar items in baskets that will be auctioned off together.
Two food trucks – CC’s Steaks & Cakes, and 4 Schmidts and Giggles – will be on site selling meals during Rails & Ales Brewfest. In addition, other food vendors will have free, small samples of food.
The event serves as a Museum fundraiser.
